Rental Information
Rental Prices for Kayaks and Canoes
Located on the Carmans River in Brookhaven, Long Island, we offer hourly rentals of today’s more popular water sports of kayaking, canoeing and stand up paddle boards. No experience necessary and our friendly staff will give you an orientation of the boats and personal safety equipment.
Single Kayaks and Stand Up Paddle Boards (SUP) – 1 person per boat*
Double Kayaks (2 people per kayak) and Canoes (2 adults and 2 kids or 3 adults per canoe)*
*Required for all rentals:

18 years or older or must be accompanied by someone 18 years or older
Reservations
Reservations not required for individuals and small groups (3-4 boats).
Call ahead (no later than 11:30am) to reserve for large groups (6 or more boats). Credit card deposit of 1/3 the total rental for reservations up to 6 boats, 50% deposit for larger groups.
Group Rates available for 10 or more boats. Schools and scouts get special rate please inquire. We also do birthday parties, family reunions, team building events for business. Ask about our summer adventure day camp for kids.
All rentals come with PFD (Personal Flotation Device), paddle and map of the river. If needed, we offer a quick orientation on usage of the equipment.
Private launch at shop free to Brookhaven town residents (proof of residency required) $10.00 per boat for non-residence.
Refund Policy for Reserved Boats
– Full refund with 15 or more days notice
– Inside of 15 days, no refund or you may reschedule your group or you can get store credit
Inclement Weather
No refunds for inclement weather. You may reschedule your reservation for another day.
Rental and Shop FALL Hours from September through October
Weekdays: CLOSED
Weekends: 9:00am – 5:00pm
Rentals go till October 30th, weather permitting.
Lessons Available
Lessons are available for Paddle Boards (SUPs) and Kayaks.
Beginner Session – 1.5 hours – $65 per person – reservations required
